The harmonies of Provence can be appreciated all year round. The brightly coloured landscapes offer unforgettable pictures.

The grey green of the olive trees, the blue green of the almond trees, the pink of the orchards in blossom, the flamboyant yellow of the sunflowers, the dark blue of the Rhône and the clear blue of the sky swept clean by the Mistral, all these were immortalised by Van Gogh and Cézanne, all contribute to make this region a blessed one.

On the multicoloured stalls of the markets, we find sun kissed fruits, aromatic herbs, spices from the Orient and lavender… The air is filled with heady odours which intoxicate from morning till night, just like Monsieur Seguin’s goat on the mountain…

Here, history is to be found, in the streets with their mediaeval arcades, in the shadows of the castles and abbeys. A poet, who couldn’t drag himself away, still wanders there perhaps, like Frédéric Mistral or Alphonse Daudet.
